Weber Q Warming Rack on Kettle?

Has anyone tried the Weber Q warming rack on a kettle? It almost looks like it could work well as it has a slight curve to it.

I believe it's made for the Q 300 series.

I messed with these here in Dubai - they had both styles of grills and racks. If you cut off the nubs it would work OK, but not ideal. They don't line up with the grates on a 22.5 in any way I could figure out. Still, better than nothing.
