How can I clean up this guy - should look sharp with my Red Akorn in it 8)
Looking for a RED 26" Kettle & a tabbed no leg RED 22" Kettle near STL. Copper Sam Adams SJ anywhere 8)

Hey Rich, assuming its solid your best bet is to use a rust inhibitor like naval jelly or rust converter then spray it with some outdoor white paint.

You can certainly spray it with one of those Rust-oleum type sprays that converts the rust and will neutralize the rust and stop it from spreading.  Thats what I plan to use on my Seville.....

Media Blast vs Sand Blast. Supposedly better. You could alwasy invest in a low cost blaster if you have the space.

So all I have to do is rub the cart with a wire brush to remove loose crap then just spray with Rustoleum?  Wow that is so easy I will probably actually do it! 8)
