Today the vents got finished up. Almost there.



Drilled out the new vent holes. Wasn't really looking for style points, but they are mostly round. I took a small screw driver, flipped it over, used the end of the handle, and tapped it with a hammer to give the hole a slight outward bend to the vent. Not really visible.

Here the vents are wide open.


This is the bottom with the vents open. all the stops on the vents catch on the ashpan.


These are the vents fully closed


And halfway


She finally got her legs back. (The grill is not crooked, the side walk is).


Next part I hope to finish up the lid. Then the big test. I want to get this thing fired up and see how it goes.
