So what would you cook as the first meal? I'd probably do a nice thick steak nice and slow as an indirect with some of the plum I have for smoke.

Knowing how much Duke liked this grill, and the fact that he was ultimately willing to let Craig enjoy it,  says a lot about the WKC.   :)

I'll confess, the image of using that cover as a shield during BB gun wars as a kid does come to mind.

Correct! This one is a LOOKER.. I'll leave the cooking to the 'Budweiser' red. Which still has yet to be cooked on too.  :)
