So I contacted Brother Marty and asked if he could make me a special inlay handle for my new brick red performer. Well, Marty not only said yes but also quickly sent me an approval drawing and 5 days later........BAM..... 8)   Marty made me a beautiful maple handle with bubinga inlay on both sides.... :) So what sets off a new performer better than a custom Marty Leach handle?.......................NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer the originals, but those Marty Leach handles are SO WELL MADE, and that one looks simply awesome, bluesman.

Yes, I do love Brian's handles on the older models which had the wood. But Marty's handles really dress up a new rigs and look so much better than the originals, it just makes you want to cook. In any event new handles are the bomb.

What G$ said X100
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Both of them are great craftsmen and both styles suit a market and a purpose. I would absolutely pimp one of these on a kettle.

Very sharp addition you have there!  Adds a unique personality the stock stuff doesn't provide. The brick and grey colors work nicely with your landscape.
