There was a box I had been anticipating on my porch from Danny C.

The box had green packing peanuts instead of the kettle shown on the outside.

Oh hey, an ash pan!  Good shape, but has california style light rust, i am not used to that.

I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Okay okay show us the rest no more teasing, there is another part of a grill in that box looks to be a lid let's see it!!!! :)
Looking for--- a yellow mbh any size, sequoia ( I know I am dreaming), avocado any size, brownie any size.

After taking out the packing peanuts, there was a kettle bowl!

And some wheels and legs.

I removed that and found a hidden compartment.

Underneath were  some grates.

Clean up date is TBD.  Thanks so much to Danny C for tracking this down and doing the leg work.  And thanks to him for being willing to ship in a weber box he had around.   He is a true grillfella.

I hope it helps folks see how packing is done originally and can be done when shipping.

Danny told me the wheels were damaged when he picked it up, so none of that is shipping related.

Will do Danny.  It may be a short while before it gets sorted out, but now that we are home and things are looking better, i will have some spurts to work on it.  Thanks again for this one.

The lid is in nice shape, and cleaned up flawlessly.  It has chips on the rim which are typical of a well used grill, and some strange splaying inside the rim, but no chips or rust problems there.  The lid handle welds are flawless.

The last lid item was the vent.  This is about as clean as I can get it. Not perfect, but nice.  I may have one more scrub.

Looking good G Money,  how old do you think it is ?

71-74.   Probably closer to 71 or 72 IMO
