Color Difference Black Kettle
« on: August 27, 2013, 07:28:25 AM »
I recently acquired a 98 Model 18.5" Kettle and when it is placed beside my
2013 the color is different. Seems like the older kettle actually is ink black and
the new one is not quite as rich. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe when they
had to do away with Red they also had to modify the formula for Black as well, or
maybe I am just to OCD about things.

i was in walmart and saw two black 2013 OTS set up side by side for display.  the shade of black was slightly different on each one.

each kettle is unique!
