Emailed Weber and copied this thread. Told them I thought these were some of the best looking kettles ever produced, and that it was a real heart breaker there would never be any more. Just thought I would tell them what I thought, for all the good it will do. They probably cant even make a two tone any more.

No way, KevinP!  Better idea would be to start your own thread with more pics of your beautiful grill.

@MrHoss. Thank you and yes I do know that. I saw copper mist in the title and saw other kettles in the thread that looked like mine. Sorry. Did not mean to post incorrectly. I am still a relative newbie to all the different color variations.  Returning to the background to lurk.

No apology needed! Don't stay in the background lurking for too long... would love to see more pics of that beauty!

I agree with Bob...she is a beauty and don't stay away too long....not with a rare bird like that man.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

@Neil_VT00 - Love the matching fade on these 3! What are the date codes?

@Bob BQ The 18 and the 22 are both '77s.  The 26er is a Pat. Pending so '69-70. I'm pretty excited to have just added the 18 and completed the set :)

Kevin, all Chestnut Coppertones are welcome AND encouraged to be posted here. After all, it is the original "Copper Mist" kettle. We love the Estate! I want to see more of this one!

This is the one I just picked up at an estate sale this week.  I am going to spend some quality time with it this weekend and clean her up.  Not perfect but in very good shape for over 40 years old.

Even came with the proper ash pan and a spare from another grill.

Have you decided to keep this one?

searching for a 26" ash pan.

More than likely will sell it but its obviously worth more cleaned up than the way it sits.
