I use Search Tempest to search CL numerous times every day.
Last week I came across a listing I knew I had to have.
For sale was a custom fabricated 24 inch wok with brackets on the bottom that allowed it to sit securely on either a 22.5 or 18.5 Weber kettle. It also came with two wok utensils.
I contacted the seller, and we spoke on Sunday. He said today or Wednesday would be good days for pickup. I told him Wednesday works for me and to e-mail me an address when he had a chance. When I asked if it was a Weber, he said it was a custom hand hammered piece.
I sent a reminder and he replied with a phone number and the actual seller (he was acting as an agent, the sellers son I think).
I called the woman On Wednesday, told her I would be there at about 4:30. She gave me the address.
Well, I showed up, had a lovely conversation with Jeanne, and she indicated she was really pissed when her husband bought it because it cost a lot of money when he did.
It looks like he used it, and I can't wait to try it myself. (Bok Choy, onions, and peppers anyone?)
I'm no wok expert, so I don't know if the wok was hand hammered, but the two tool certainly are. It fits perfectly on a Weber kettle and it is HUGE!.
Too late tonight to take decent pics, so I'll do that tomorrow when the SoDT goes to run a garage sale.
I'll post pics of the meat slicer and my new cooking area too.
WOO HOO! SCOOOOOOOOORE!
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

Awesome. Can't wait to see it! I am using my hand hammered wok on my kitchen stove, and I just can't get enough heat in it. Next is on the kettle or the outdoor stove at 60,000 btu!!!
