I’ve had this kettle since 2019 and finally got around to bringing it back to its glory days. I love logo kettles, especially the 22” version. It is a basic one touch system. I happened to have an original set of ash sweeps to replace the missing rusted ones. My wife was gracious enough to stop and pick this up for me. She said the guy was selling it for his brother who got evicted from his property. Not a good story but I will always think of this guy who lost everything. If I ever ran across him I would gladly give it back to him. I’m not proud of the story but I’m proud to keep this kettle in operation. I wish I knew the guys name so I could nickname it.
I have a bunch of photos of the restoration but I will start with a few before and after. If anyone has any questions please post them. I used most of the methods from the wise founding members of this club.
