Hello, New to the site.  Currently have two Weber char burners.  2003 performer and 2004 original kettle.  First Webber was in early 80's with wood handles.  Lost after many moves. Traded my Genesis for the Performer and getting the performer in grilling shape for the summer as a low and slow grill.  Using the original kettle for typical grilling.

Welcome from Waltham,MA.  I have a 2003 Performer SSP.  It needs a serious cleanup, New sweeps and a new propane ignition and burner but I will never let go of it. It was my father in law's and he reminded me of the greatness of charcoal cooking.  He didn't have patience to do it himself anymore but he loved the results.  When I cook on it, it feels like I'm cooking with him.  He's been gone for 12 years, but I hold onto that.
