someone in my neighborhood isn't happy
« on: July 01, 2022, 08:29:47 AM »
my grandson left the gate open & my foxhound went for a romp. i was in my driveway smoking a meatloaf on my weber/cajun bandit grill when he came up the driveway with a really nice big ribeye steak with grill marks on it in his mouth. he'd robbed somebody's grill!! the steak looked good enough that i thought about washing it off & splitting it with him.

i cruised the neighborhood & saw no one grilling or any smoke. this dog can travel. he got out a few years ago & someone picked him 6 miles away 40 minutes later. i had the same thing happens years ago when i lived in nawlins'. i had a big bone airdale that was tall enough to rest his chin on my kitchen table. he came home with a t bone.

My golden, Molly, would never have brought it home. She’d have ate it under a tree somewhere. I miss her. Thanks for this post. It makes my day every time I see the headline.

That was last year. Here’s the ones I made today.
