So as the title says my first kettles score of the year. Really nice thumbscrew statesmen and black OT that the person would not let me have the Red without.
A bonus on the black is the 7409 ash sweep is pristine.
If I have a thumbscrew grill I like the thumbscrews to move so all 3 on these were hard to move 2 seized and one challenging. Lots of PB blaster and a little heat and I was able to get 2 of them loose.
Here's the tip, this happened to me when I had an impossible bolt on my car, it worked then and worked this time.
Heat up the screw then put candle wax on the threads. it worked so well I can hardly believe it worked but, helped on the car and did here too.
