Pork loin showdown
« on: February 21, 2022, 05:24:07 PM »
We picked up a large pork loin at Costco. I cut it in half. One half I did with yellow mustard and a pork sweet rub. The other I did with sriracha and a beef rub. The sriracha rubbed one turned out better than the other. Slightly spicey and bold. The other was pretty mild. I like bold flavors. Used cherry wood for smoke.

I would have bet on the rooster right out of the gate, they both look awesome !
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Looks real good! I’m not sure what the proper name of the darker part of the loin is but that’s my favorite part.
