Removing the gas assist
« on: February 19, 2022, 09:00:22 PM »
So I was thinking of swapping the bowl out on a Gen 2 performer but not bothering with the gas assist. However, I don't necessarily want to have a panel and cover for the gas assist that isn't even going to be there. But removing it means looking at the cutouts.
And I wanted to keep the Gen 2 front there because I prefer the look of the stainless panel.
Anybody have any suggestions for repurposing that spot or something to cover it with?

Seems like a perfect spot for a temp probe base like a smoke x4.  Put a rectangle of steel so a magnet will stick.
