I got interested in adding automatic temp control to my stuff - the Party-Q seems like a good way to do it.  To attach it to a One Touch Weber all you have to do is drill a 1 inch hole.  Yeah, I'm just about to drill a hole in one of my Redheads!!!

Anyone have a non-distructive way to attach it?

Drill in a Redhead??  NFW, well maybe to attach gas but not for ATC  8)

Hey There!

I've been looking for feedback on this topic as well.

After 20+ years of only using a gas grill, when it came time again to replace my grill I decided to go with charcoal & a weber kettle partly based on having read the following article:

http://gizmodo.com/5923283/how-i-got-at-least-2000-worth-of-grill-for-540

I have had it now for about six weeks & have been loving it. Today I did a pork butt low & slow for the second time. I have a Maverick Redi-Chek and am finding it really useful for the low & slow. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble maintaining a consisent kettle temperature even using the thermometer. I find I have to frequently adjust the input & output ports.

As a result, I'm more determined than ever to put a PartyQ on my OTG; but, I'd love to hear others experience.

Tdw have you tried snaking your charcoal? It's easier to control the temp with a smaller fire.
