Getting excited for Thanksgiving
« on: October 26, 2021, 08:09:26 AM »
With a downtick in cases i'm hoping that i can finally use the Glen Blue i picked up last year, for this years Thanksgiving turkey! I ordered my Cajun Bandit rotisserie a week back and am excited to spin a bird on it in a few weeks!

having a hard time posting pics...

Can't wait to hear the feedback on the roti, maybe I'll get of the fence
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Sounds like an epic cook!  I'd practice with a chicken or two in the meantime.... Are you going to wet brine?

When i bake one i always brine it before hand. Planning on doing the same with this one.

Weber Chicken Brine ingredients, probably just up everything for a turkey.......They recommend chicken in the brine for 6-12 hours.  I went 4 hours and it was great.
