I rattle-canned a couple chips, both inside and outside the kettle using brake caliper paint. Looks good, and has held up through many grillings.

Inside???? Wow.  I'd be worried about how that affects your food and health.  That stuff is toxic.

"That's what fire looks like"

"Got us a little fire-ski"

This has long since become a WKC classic. I catch myself talking like John the Picker amongst myself and to my friends...

Using a Q-Tip, I dabbed some brake caliper paint on a few chips that showed signs of rust. Yes, inside the kettle bowl.

Hmmmmm, maybe that's why I get sick and vomit after each time I cook outside?

I just now put the two together. I have renamed my kettle the "Vomit Comet".
