Weber still carries a replacement cooking grate made for vintage 26" kettles. The part number is #66910. The grate is a different size (24.5") because the grate straps are set lower in vintage 26ers opposed to the newer 26" kettles. Unfortunately, a lot of Weber Customer Service Reps are not able to research and find the part number. I was fortunate to get a very knowledgeable rep a few years back that found a lot of parts for vintage kettles. Weber had them in stock as recently as a few months ago. You'd have to give Weber CS a call and give then the above part number. BTW, the vintage 26" charcoal grate part number is #66911.If you decide to go the Killa Grilla route, the part number is KG6245 that will fit the vintage 26 in kettle. These grills are beasts weighing 9 lbs.https://killagrilla.square.site/product/24-5-bbq-stainless-cook-grate-kg6245-for-vintage-26-weber/13?cs=true&cst=custom
