I would keep your eye out on Facebook. They frequently come up for sale in the $75 (dirty and used) to $100-$150 like new or new in box.
For the most part there was not any major issues, but the porcelain coverage was kinda sloppy and thin around holes and handles that might cause problems down the line. It was also clearly visible on inspection. The cause of this is that it was outsourced to China for the porcelain spray and hopefully will never be done again.
I have purchased a new in box Spring Green and Glen Blue directly from Weber and the porcelain coverage was significantly better. About the only place you will see light or no coverage is maybe underneath the bottom grate strap because it is just a pain to get a good spray without a lot of runs in the porcelain. While runs on the interior of the kettle doesn't bother me, too much could cause issues with the sweeps. Even with light coverage in that spot you will probably be ok as long as you cook some greasy meat from time to time to season the metal well.
If you really like the reds I would keep your eyes out for a 90s era red in good shape because from what I have seen the coloring is just significantly better than the LE red. They also dropped them into stainless steel performers, but the reds and blues in good shape move quick.
