Converting an OTS to a MasterTouch
« on: March 05, 2021, 05:35:58 PM »
I know...............add the ash catcher and lid bale and you're basically there.  However I'd like to go with the larger wheels as well.

My question is will the larger MasterTouch wheels cause the triangle to slope forward, as the height of the triangle insert point on the front leg remains the same.

I’ve added an elevated rubber end bumper and coins to raise the third leg for one that i modded....it works.

You can also pickup a $10 shower rod and cut and drill it to be the proper height front leg.

If you just want the look of the big wheels but  aren't worried about the extra inch you can also trim top of the back legs to even it out also.

If you want the extra set of it all for a resto you can order MT legs and triangles from weber and reporpose the standard ones.

Make it yours, and don't forget to post pics!!

I also changed out wheels, legs and triangle on a standard kettle with MT parts and it worked out nicely.
