Char - Q

So good news! I found me a Char - Q !

Bad news, it does not have a charcoal grate....

I know they are discontinued.  Has anyone used anything else that worked well? I read that maybe a Q100 food grate may work as a replacement,  but I havent seen anyone actually use one...

Has anyone had a missing / unusable charcoal pan / grate issue with their Char- Q , and had a good fix?

Does it have the charcoal tray ? I had a char q and I'm certain you can order the grates. Think it's the q series 2200. The gas grates are cast iron like the char q

E replacement parts says it made of aluminized steel. Out of stock. I would make something better.  The old one probably rusted out if they used it often.

I think the 100 in the 200 bottom would work or atleast close enough.

Sorry , I read your post wrong . I would get a member who has one to give you the measurements and make one. I remember mine being thin and flimsy
