Picked up a 22 today. New in box, $250. Hard to find a deal like that and close to my area. Been looking for a couple years for one that was priced right and close to home. It will fit in nice with my 18.

Congrats on your 22” score.
You’ll love the 22” for cooking two briskets or six pork shoulders at once. Ive had mine for almost nine years and use it about 15-20 times a year.
Post pics of your first 22” cook!
Cheers

I’ll probably use the 18 more, but nice to have the 22 when the need arises. Couldn’t pass it up.

Congrats! You’ll love the real estate you have in that 22. I love mine - even put in a 3rd grate for the fun of it. Lots of fun mods you can do with those too. Enjoy!

Honestly I had a 18 and a 22...I sold the 18. I'll keep the 22 for big cooks, but anything I would have used the 18 for, I end up doing on the kettle. And using the kettle uses less charcoal. Enjoy that 22....

I love my 22. I don't use it that often so the fuel consumption isnt a big deal for me. I don't like rolling/cutting ribs or laying a packer brisket on a rack. Upgrade to a cajun bandit door when you get a chance. the oem one leaks like crazy.
