A buddy of mine owns a home renovation business and occasionally rents out his dump trailer to people. His renter left a red kettle in the trailer and he offered it to me. I gladly accepted but it was rough and missing some parts. L Code one touch plus.
This one sat in the barn for a year but I finally got around to cleaning it up. I ended up selling to a friend for the cost of some replacement parts (sweeps, thermo, wheels). I had some spare handles, salvaged from a beater kettle. A club member gifted me the thermo holder. The friend is a budding kettle guy, so I was happy to fan the flames of weberitis. It’s ready for next 30 years.
