So yesterday I smoked 3 slabs of baby backs at 250° for about 5 hrs and used a little over 3pounds of Weber charcoal.
Today I smoked a 16# packer at 250 for about 11 hrs.
I started my cook with 8 pounds of Weber coals and 4 blocks of pecan wood. After the coals went out I weighed them. I have 3.66 pounds of charcoal left and a block and a half of pecan left.
This thing is more efficient than I thought.
