Help me identify this grate
« on: July 22, 2020, 03:24:19 PM »
I’ve had this grate for at least a decade and don’t recall what model it came from. I’ve never seen another like it with the removable cast iron insert. Do any of you know if it’s a true weber part?

It’s a legit Weber grate.  Also compatible with the genesis griddles.  IDK the part number, but I’m sure someone else does.

Here is a pic of the grate/griddle combo:

Kind of a predecessor to the gbs.  I would prefer this old style

That's cool! I thought it looked like a genesis grate.

Thanks for the identification guys.
@Bob BQ, do you have the weber part number?  Ultimately, I'd like to replace the outer section as the cast center is still terrific.

The part number for the outer section? I do not... I believe they were only sold with either the CI griddle or the CI grate.  I'd be surprised if Weber still has any of them available. My outer section is definitely worn, as well.
