This week's purchase
« on: July 04, 2020, 05:07:14 AM »
Afternoon grillers!

I picked this little jem up yesterday (1996 22") and the lid has a fade to a darker red, but the bowl doesn't...is this a Red Mist model?

Thanks as always [emoji4]

I only became aware it was a thing a few hours ago lol

Are they fairly common? I was going to use this one as my "beater" grill....

They are not uncommon in the US, but they don't make that red anymore because of environmental reasons.  Finding one in nice condition takes a bit of time, depending on where in the US you are located.  That one looks like it is is pretty nice shape.  I wouldn't use it as a beater, but I'd certainly use it.

Don't know how common or uncommon they are in the UK (which is really what matters for you in the end).  Hopefully a UK member can pipe up about that.

Hal
