Wheel restoration
« on: June 24, 2020, 04:59:54 PM »
I’m finishing up my Wood Dale rebuild and polished off the wheels tonight.

The wheels did a long evaporust bath.   I got them down to bare metal because the old paint was beyond repair.

Two coats of primer and four coats of gloss black.  My wife repainted the white walls just now.  My hands aren’t steady enough!  I’m very happy with my first try at this.  I have three sets to go for other projects.

Nice job Michael.
I have a couple of sets of wheels that I need to get moving on.
