I cook burgers, brats and hotdogs direct on a charcoal go anywhere.(no pics)
I also smoke salmon or trout indirect on a go anywhere with a homemade little deflector plate.
I have at least 6 Smokey Joe's. I cannot remember when the last time I cooked on one.

Looks great, you down under by any chance?  Loving those colours.

That table any good or just a gimmick?

How did you fashion you deflector plate?  It's on my to do list.

Thanks.

No I am not down under. I am in the Chicago suburbs. I found the Red B code at an estate sale and then found the Grey at another estate sale a few months later.

The table raises the grill up to the perfect height. It also has a locking mechanism that keeps the grill secured. I have not used it yet but I have been told the 14" wsm will lock into it as well.
The deflector plate was made out of a piece of scrap stainless steel. There is one that is similar that is sold on Ebay.

Do it!  We've had it for a couple of years now and my 4 yr old is starting to really play with it.  He likes managing the "smoke" from the exhaust vent.
