What is the history of the performer with fold down table? Only place the seem available is Ace Hardware, is this possibly the only place?
When were they first offered?

Gold down... Had me thinking someone cousins brother found out that they dipped real down feathers in real gold and put it on performers for Stephen Weber himself but always made sure to leave the handles white and have the gold be goopy inside the Sockets. [emoji6]

I'dike to run across a used racing performer like you mention might be fun to build with. Only ones I have seen around me are close to retail. Sorry no info on how long they have been around besides to say atleast a couple years.

I believe that was the performer silver. I'm not sure what years they were made.
