I just received a brand new, store assembled, 26" weber kettle.  When I went to go check out my new toy, I noticed that the enamel was chipped on the inside of the bowl.  I am planning on trying to get a replacement from the store, but has anyone seen this before?  The triangular pattern almost reminds me of the holes in the vents.

See the pic attached.

Thanks!
Andy

The missing porcelain is exactly where the leg sockets are spot welded on the outside of the bowl.  The porcelain damage happens when the box is dropped. Contact Weber and send them a photo.  They will ship you a new bowl.

Thank you very much for the response!  That is great information.  Much appreciated.
