Got the bowl and lid done today... I have no idea how y'all do this dampers and get them looking like mirrors. Even texting colin the whole time. Anyone out in San Diego good with restorations?

Jim uses that aircraft aluminum polish to make it like mirrors. Everyone else just uses steel wool and elbow grease.

Yes, I use Supra 90 Aircraft Metal Polish.  It's price is not for the faint of heart though.  $16.50 for a 4.5 ounce container or $43 for a 1 lb container.  If your interested, here's a link to purchase:

I can't take credit for discovering the use of Supra 90 for polishing Weber parts.  That credit goes to Brian, WKC member #2 -  @zavod44  It works amazing on lid vents, legs and ash buckets.  Compared to Mothers Polish, Supra 90 cuts your polish time in at least half.
