I understand moderation, it got nasty at the end.  However, none of my comments were personal attacks, none of my comments were trumpism, whatever that is.   I questioned what I felt were extraordinary claims without evidence.   In addition, I complemented Brandon on the score of an old Wood dale grill.  It's your forum, you have that power, are we at the point to where we cannot challenge a claim here without it being wiped out?
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

I sure hope that me quoting the conversation early on was the reason my comment disappeared.  I think my subjective level of hotness / do-ability was pertinent to the thread.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

And I am just over here wondering what happened to the razor bladed gold flakes that are in someone's drive way or grass somewhere.

Lol yeah I guess that wasn't too smart of me. Never in a million years would I have thought it was real gold plated.

We're all still here and no one needs to be butt-hurt or mad, IMO :)

Do your best to get along with others. (that also means 'no trolling')

It's absolutely not the most valuable Weber but it is cool.

Very cool grill and I would trade $500 and  car leaking oil for it

Lesson learned at age 12.....I didn't get the Schwinn bike I wanted for Christmas, but my best friend did.  Sometimes he would suggest that we trade bikes for a day which was really cool to me....  same was true with footballs and hockey sticks.  I learned to share and appreciate my friend's accomplishments.  Thanks @GrillGiant for sharing this story, it's all fun and what I personally am here for.  Also, thanks for the amazing grill handle that I installed on my '78 "Schwinn" chocolate today. ; ). I appreciate it.

How about this, to me personally it is. I've seen everything else. Never seen this, and probably won't ever again. So to me, this is the rarest and most valuable Kettle ever found. And the story makes it even more valuable to me that George Stephen has them made for him. But yes, value is subjective. One grill might be worth more to someone than it is to me. There's no "Beckett" price guide when it comes to grills.

I can appreciate that. I was just poking some fun. I'm a cooker not a collector so I have no way of knowing. Congrats on the find
