Maple Soy Salmon

Easy! Equal parts soy and maple syrup (maybe 1/3 C each) marinade salmon skin-side up (don't let the marinade get on the skin) while the charcoal chimney is coming up to speed. Build a 2-level fire. A minute on the flesh side to get the grill marks over the hot side, then a few more on the skin side before moving to the cool side of the grill. Extra sauce for brushing on during the last few minutes. I finished it flesh-side on top of the hot side for a little extra char. Good stuff.

Bump to increase interest in the new consolidated recipe section!
Similar recipes like this work great in the kettle. Not so great in the oven because the sauce burns on the pan and is a pain to clean.
