This was my first pizza on the kettle and the first time not using store-bought crust. Everyrhing was fantastic!

Had some friends over for new years eve so decided to make pizza. Of course I used it as an excuse to get another accessorie

Decided to go with the pizzaque over the kettle pizza pretty much because of price. 70 vs 200 made it an easy decision for me to try out. Especially since I ordered thru Amazon and returns are so easy. I think in some ways the pizza kettle would have been better, just not sure it's 130 dollars better.

My stone came with a chip missing but that didn't stop us. Everyone loved the pies, even a picky 9 year old that's not a big fan of pizza. The magherita pizzas were in for about 4.5 minutes each, the cheese that I made with super thin crust only needed about 2 minutes!

Also.... Never saw my crimson so dark before, it was grate! I know it's a risk to damaging the finish, but I'm ok with that. It's a cooker!

Anyway, pics!

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Thanks guys! My family and guests were happy so that made it all good for me :)

I really like the pizzaque - I just wish the lid was more stable. I'll have to modify it someway to be a little better because I know I'll knock the lid off someday.

For the money this thing costs, I don't think it can be beat!

Nice looking pizzas!  Mine gets really dark burgundy when cooking as well.  Nice to know it goes back to normal color after cooling down.  Weather permitting I'd like to try more pizza cooks.  Yours have inspired me!
