I bought my WSM 18" Classic new in the year 2008 and it now time to remove and replace the four(4) daisy wheels that are riveted.

However, I recently had my battery powered Drill stolen; so, I plan on buying a new one on a one hundred($100) budget on Amazon.com and your recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Rotary tool with a carbide deburring bit works better than a drill bit. Just carefully grind the head off and the rivet will fall right off.

I haven't had to do that yet. But I was wondering about how best to remove them.

Jules V.: Thanx for this information and my thinking right-now is to purchase either a Dremel or Black&Decker Rotary tool off Amazon.com?

If you wouldn't be using it that much, just get a cheap rotary tool. I have both brands and the Black& Decker works just as well as the Dremel.
