I dunno if or when we will ever see the glen blue in production but they sure stirred up some chatter which I'm sure is what they wanted to do

Now if they wanted to boost 26" sales then release a color

But I'm on the conservative side thinking it'll be a limited edition master touch.

Why not just release one new color ever year?

I'd rather see a flat top with one touch released myself. Preferably black.

He's apparently the most winningest bbq champion ever and a good friend of Kevin Kohlman.

I thought Myron Mixon was the most winningest bbq champ?
I've always liked Tuffy more than the other TV bbq guys

By world championships, I believe Tuffy's got him, but you're not wrong on TV likability.
Wife: Let me guess... you want to grill again

I need a modern glen blue mastertouch in my life.  A vintage glen blue would be nice too but I am not holding my breath for that one.

Where is that Weber Grill Academy located???

North of Chicago - near the old Weber HQ. It's where they train dealers and entertain from time to time. Closed to the public. I've been lucky to visit a few times back when their former CEO was there - an old boss of mine when we were both with Black & Decker. Had a really nice dinner one evening with Kevin K and others from Weber, along with WKC founders Jeff and Brian. We grilled our own steaks in the indoor "kitchen". Kevin and another Weber chef had a bunch of other goodies already made. Basically a fully equipped super ventilated grilling heaven. Plenty of vintage grills to drool on, not to mention all the new stuff. Good times.

Is Tuffy cooking on a Weber now?
I scrolled through his Facebook page.  From what I did not see, I can only assume he does not use any weber grills.

Thats a nice one Weber...make one of the most wanted colors of all time and give it to someone who cooks on something that isn't your brand.
ISO: 18" & 22" Lime, 22" Cado, Plum SSP, Clean & Colored 18" for Midget Mod, and the usual Grails.

Filibuster

Maybe from this day forward he'll cook on the Glen Blue and spark interest.

FWIW- There is allegedly a copper colored one someone at Weber did that now resides in another state.  If memory serves, they did it to an old MBH but using that copper color that they have been selling for a couple years.

He competes with a custom Jambo pit.   He beat out my friend Tennessee Mojo at Memphis In May last year with it.

I've seen this company come up several times.  For a fee, I'm sure they will enamel anything you want, including a replica glen blue.
