My $10 find from last October is all ready for duty.

Fun project for the winter.  I took advantage of a 60 degree January Indiana day a few weeks back to get it clean.

If you haven't used evaporust, you need to.  Got this triangle, wheels, and thumbscrews looking like new again.  I thought the handle was a destined to get replaced but some sanding, several coats of stain, and tung oil, and it's presentable again.   I've also begun using a clear spray enamel on my triangles to keep the rust from returning.  Thanks to my wife for the craft paint touch ups on the wheels.

I'm pleased for it being 52-54 years old!

NICE!  Is the handle really almost a black like it appears in the picture?

No.  It's more very dark brown.  It's a golden oak shade from MinWax.
