First CGA I've seen in my area since I got hooked.  Happen to be NIB K Code (barely missed my 89 birth year) and the coolest thing for me was all the original documentation.  Still pretty dusty but I was too stoked not to get it assembled.

Nice! I'm still waiting to find one up here.  I have two GGAs, with one being the same package as yours. They were both free acquisitions. A C will come along eventually.

WeberKell11

You can't beat free and you'll get the CGA I'm sure! If it really comes down to it, I'm sure something can be arranged with another grate WKC member here!

You did o"K" on that score
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

WeberKell11

I see what you did there.

If you are interested in trading or selling it, let me know. K code is my birth year.

Happy to try and answer that for you after you educate me on what I'm looking for.

Post a close up picture of the vents with the K stamped in it. Other K code kettles have been stamped crooked "rockin K" and some upside down as well.

Here's an example of a Rockin K.  Also know as a Lazy K.  It will hard to tell if it's a Rockin K on a GA.  The vents have no other stampings that the K should be aligned with.

Looks like they got it right on my CGA.  Thanks for the info... now I want a rockin K haha

Rockin' K to me right there. Congrats on a grate score.

WeberKell11

You think so? How should it be situated on the CGA vents?
