Does anyone own one of these? What do you think? Is it any good?

The Weber slide aside is great!  Definitely helpful.  I've used it on 18s, 22s, and vintage 26s.

Here's a review with photos of the slide aside in use on 18" and 22" kettles.  As Bob BQ mentioned above, they will also work on vintage 26" kettles.  They are really useful if you have any vintage kettles.  I rotate the one I have through whatever size I am using.  To answer your question, yes they are a very good accessory.  The one I have was purchased directly through Weber.  I can't speak for this QuliMetal Slide-a-Side on Amazon.

Does the job fine, like all the over the lip stuff you don't get a perfect seal and I wouldn't use it on my favorite looker kettle. If it's just for your daily cooker for mostly hot and fast it works great. I also use one on my camping shorty it helps as a wind block.

I bought one when the inner hook fell off of my mid-80s lid.

It significantly disrupts the seal of the lid.

I added a gasket to the lid.
