Birthday week cooks
« on: September 02, 2019, 04:55:45 AM »
So ever since I’ve been married I get a one week birthday. That I get to grill whatever I want whenever I want. I don’t care if I’m on the way to a call for work and decide to stop by the lake for lunch and grill some burgers or whatever.

So I wanted surf and turf yesterday so crab legs and a nice t-bone. Ribs today with corn and  asparagus.

Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

Just got coals on grill... after the wife finishes preparing the apple pies, banana bread, and pecan pies all mini pies. I’ll toss them on the 4 burner summit to cook them and put Ribs going on custom dual otp with corn and  prosciutto wrapped asparagus to follow about 4 hours later. My favorite week of the year! Lol

That’s an awesome idea—and your spouse must be awesome as well. Keep posting all week. Happy birthday!

Corn done, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto done, ribs... done a little early but very good. I was going to wrap and keep on the grill for another hour but.... NOPE! All was great.

Now what to grill tomorrow??? Want surf and turf again. Thinking Beef Wellington. Already have dessert with pies and banana bread.
