It was mint condition......

So I rolled out the 89 red mist for a quick rinse. It's only been used a handful of times(6-8), more dusty than anything. It was mint condition.... Until ten minutes ago.
I rolled her outside, slid the lid into the bail, grabbed the hose and sprayed the lid....... And over she went.
I'm such a dumbass, I should have known.... Or at least I should have drank more coffee.....

I bet those letters you screamed were in four letter increments though! Sorry for your loss, I will have to remember that info about the hose and the lid in the bale.
Also, you know they say pics or it didn't happen, how bad is it?

I sure hope everyone's Friday started off better than mine.
I spoke with a buddy of the phone this morning, we talked about this. I couldn't help but laugh when he said to advertise it as "lightly abused" [emoji2]

That sucks, but the silver lining is that the damage is on the rim. Like

Just looks like you modified it to have a “secure lock lid notch” to me.

Something similar happened to me recently. Man, I was mad! It wouldn’t be vintage without a scar or two to tell a story.
