Let me start out by giving BIG THANKS to @brewtownbeatdown for securing this and some of the finest packing I've seen before.About a month ago i was chasing an 18. Seller told me it might be sold but he was out of town. Went back and forth texting a few times before he texted me "Boss says it's gone". Fast forward to Saturday the 17th. I'm at Bethel Woods for Woodstock anninersary shows tailgating. At noon I get a text
" Well guess what, still have it :) I'm guessing the Boss wasn't home when she was supposed to be.. LOL"
It took me a minute to know what this was about, I totally forgot about it. SO I write back "The grill"
He says " I can't find the chimney starter thingy, but the grill is yours if you want it". I asked him to send a picture to confirm it's what I'm dreaming of. It is. I reach out to Brewtown and he says he's available Sunday to grab it. What a day it was thinking about it. I was even thinking about it while Santana was playing. Next day back in Bethel for last shows. And 27 hours later I get a text from Brewtown that it's secured. He's one hell of a Grillfella. He says " It's one of the nicest I've seen". Well he got it right out and I received it yesterday. I never expected for this. All I can say is WOW. There are 3 or 4 TINY flaws.
She's a 10 in my book. I spent 3 hours giving it an initial cleaning. Still need to complete triangle, legs, tweak ash pan, and put on a new pair of shoes. I still can't believe that this worked out. Woodstock vibe was in the air. "Expect the unexpected when most unexpected"  Dreams do come true.

These are all from yesterday. Again, just a 3 hour cleaning. She's not restored

Looking for MBH 26

Glad I could help out!!!  We were both on this one...for different reasons.  You wanted for your collection, and I was just wanting it to add to my "willing to trade towards a Glen Blue" stockpile, so I was happy to agent it.  This kettle had to get packed & shipped immediately, cuz like I said, "the longer it sits here, the less likely it'll leave here".   It's that dang nice!!!  However, if it were a 22, it woulda had to stay in WI.  Looking forward to some finished resto pics in the near future.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

That is very nice! Throw that triangle in some evapo rust and give it some elbow grease and it will be perfect!

Sweet score, that @brewtownbeatdown guy sure is nice, and I have NEVER seen a grill packed as well as when he does it!!
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill
