The Weber CGA meets the Lodge CI griddle
« on: August 22, 2019, 05:40:30 PM »
Recently scored a charcoal Go Anywhere.
40 years ago this was my very first grill.
So with the new one...........
Over filled it with lit coals.

Lodge griddle fits right on like it was made for it.

Took the temps well over 400 degrees.
And tossed on some smashed out 1/3# 85% burgers.

Cheddar for the cheese.

Burgers in the house to rest.
Griddle be gone.
Plenty of heat for some roasted corn.

And some okra.

And plated with some garden fresh pico...

I love this little grill. The opportunities are endless...

Looks amazing, @SMOKE FREAK how do you like the okra cooked the way you did? Tami loves okra, looking for new ways to cook them
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Only way I like okra is fried or grilled...

To grill it
Olive oil, salt and pepper.
Two skewers keep the okra from spinning when turning.
Medium hot coals.
Cook till done enough and some decent char...

My wife and son will eat the small tender ones straight from the garden but not me...
