Rome, Ga. that is @fosterdahlet made the trip down from Rome,Ga to meetup and ask me to become the curator of his one owner high mileage DU code Ssp. What an awesome guy and grate grillfella and was thrilled to finally meet him. We talked awhile about life in Atlanta and lots of other things. I am humbled that his first thought of who to gift this grill to was me. I am honoring that thought by cooking on her tonight. Cheers to all

Congrats Joe. Couldn't go to a better home. Kudos to @Foster Dahlet for the generosity.

First I have to say I love the cooker and the gesture. Period. Big shout out to @Foster Dahlet.

Second, I'd like to point out your sweet Southern prose describing yourself as a "curator" of such a fine grill. I can't think of anyone who would ever describe a BBQ in that manner. I probably would have chosen the word "steward;" but maybe that's my "California" showing.  8) For you sir; it seems such language comes naturally.  ;D  I'll gladly tip my hat.

Bravo!

That thing is sweet! Hope to have one someday!

Nice gesture on both sides!  I admit that much of the reason I seem addicted to this place is the kindness and friendship between members.

That's a great looking SSP!  Wonderful generosity @Foster Dahlet.  There's no one more fitting to be the new owner of that grill!  Congrats @JEBIV

Thank you @JEBIV for being such a great presence in this community.  I am grateful.  What's more, thank you for giving the SSP a new home.  Hopefully we can do a SE WKC meetup at some point and meet some of the other fine grillfellas in the area.  Peace, brother Joe!

Your SSP is happy to be here and has been appropriately named Ardsagart with honor and respect for its previous owner. We get the yard and deck all squared away and the SE meetup will be on
