Got a text from my wife this morning... she found a Yachtsman on the curb... the kicker? She stopped and put it in the trunk!  Its going to be a project, but this kettle will definitely cook again.

My wife usually isn't very hands on in my hobbies. The other day when I saw a mid 70's mbh on an estate sale website she said "you should have told me about it, I would have gone and checked it out" brought a tear to my eye! We've got some good wives! We went the next day and I got it.

Can't wait to see the restore process, have fun.
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

NICE!  Even partially cleaned up, she is clearly coming back to life.

Wow. Now THERE's a project! Good luck!
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

What a grab! Can't wait to see a cook on it.
