Grate story about the estate sale James. I’ve never been to one. Congrats to both on the teamwork and awesome score.

This! I’d see about getting a black 26er triangle from Weber and try to source some of the 8” white wall wheels.

Love the idea too. Triangle shouldn’t be too hard to source. If I ever finish my mini ranch I’ll gladly donate the triangle to the cause. 8” whitewalls can be had off of a Performer. [emoji1303]

If you have to source the triangel and wheels for this.... I would say... go full blown Rat Rod on it!!
Get a flat sheet metal triangle bent up for it... maybe even use a street sign or something cool like that and your hands on some wire spoked baby buggy type wheels! It’s your grill.. do what ever makes your smoke rise!
That would be super cool! And then use it and enjoy it!

One tip I like is to keep a number of really large garbage bags in the back of your car, just in case such an adventure presents itself.  I usually wind up using 2 of them, one for the bowl & another for the lid & grates.  It looks like the lid & grates were not too bad in this case & James had the towel for the bowl, so hopefully he didn't have any major clean up to do.
regards,
Hal
