9 out of 10 times, a Venturi brush or bamboo skewer will clean out the burner tube and get your gas-assist working again.

Did you blow out the burner tube for any cobwebs or obstructions? Also check that the screw in the tube is seated correctly and not rusted. Does it light with a lighter?

I get gunk on the orifice going into the tube and have to clean that every couple of years. Wire brush or steel wool.

I also take a small file or screwdriver and scratch around on the tube inside where the igniter is to make sure it has a clean surface across to make the spark.

Did you check to see if the gas tank is empty first?
You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need
