Have they ever produced a colored WSM?  If so, which colors, post pics!  If not, wonder why?

They are available in any color you want as long as it is black

I only recall a couple legitimate factory colored WSMs, a 22" burgundy owned by Jeff:

And there's also a factory 18" Blue floating around out there owned by AnotherPintPlease.
Which would you choose Round 1- Blue WSM or Blue Flattop 26'r? http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/index.php?topic=10604

Could be more, these are the only two from the factory that I recall.

I believe those were powder coated and not produced by Weber

Those both came from Weber under special circumstances as I recall.

I don't, I traded it. It was porcelain, but the coating/color didn't come from Weber. I wrote this for my website before I traded it:

They probably don't do other colors for cost reasons and the likelihood of more noticeable imperfections.  I mean there is a lot of surface area and different colors seems to highlight imperfections a lot more.
ISO: 18" & 22" Lime, 22" Cado, Plum SSP, Clean & Colored 18" for Midget Mod, and the usual Grails.

Walchit

I wonder what it would cost to have one porcelain coated in a different color?

I think people looked into it before and it is costly. You would need to have several to bring the cost down.

You are likely looking at about $750.  There is a place in Independence that will do it.
