Father’s Day weekend cook
« on: June 16, 2019, 07:31:38 AM »
So I was going to go up north and do nothing this weekend for Father’s Day but things happen.

I decided to to a demo for Weber once my two friends from the bar decided to do a birthday party at our local watering hole. I was also asked if I would grill for them. I chose to do 20lbs of pork for the party and and they bought 40 kebabs and 5lbs of bratwurst.

Soaked the bratwurst in beer, onion, and lemon, and grilled direct 1st then offset to finish.

For the demo...

As for today... leftovers and rest.

Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

Unselfishly doing for others on Father's Day, wouldn't expect anything else from You !
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Looks like an awesome time even though it was probably a ton of work [emoji106]

@JEBIV I couldn’t say no to friends if I have the ability to help... even on Father’s Day weekend. Picked up the grill on Sunday walked into the bar and I thought the party was still going on. About 15 people at 11:30am we where helping cleanup the grill area

I can not tell a lie.... it sure was a lot of work, but the question is “would I do it again”?...

Hell YA! It was fun, I was tired, Probably partaken in a few to many free cocktails I know this because my wife told me, but hell yes I’d do it again. Maybe not a demo and partying in the same day after 20lb pork the day before.  :)

@crizpynutz Thanks it was fun and a lot of work but I recommend all to try this! This will make you appreciate only cooking for 20 people or so.
